Tipharco was established in 1976 under the name Tien Giang Pharmaceutical Company. After undergoing several transformations in both operational model and company name, in February 2006, it was officially converted into Tipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
With its core functions in the manufacturing and trading of pharmaceuticals and health supplements, as well as contract manufacturing and licensing, Tipharco currently operates two GMP-WHO certified factories, including the Beta-Lactam & Non Beta-Lactam Factory and the Herbal Medicine & Health Supplement Factory, both located in the central area of Dong Thap Province (formerly My Tho City, Tien Giang Province).
The Pharmaceutical Factory covers an area of 2,500 m², with a designed capacity of up to 722 million units per year, divided into Beta-lactam and Non-Beta-lactam production lines, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in manufacturing. Meanwhile, the Herbal Medicine Factory spans 2,230 m², with a capacity of 172 million units annually.
All Tipharco factories are equipped with advanced technologies and strictly comply with international production standards, ensuring the highest level of product quality. In addition, Tipharco operates a GLP-certified quality control laboratory system, a GSP-compliant central warehouse, two regional pharmaceutical distribution centers, and a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City.
Over its 50-year journey of establishment and development, Tipharco has been honored multiple times by the Prime Minister with Emulation Flags, and by the President with prestigious awards such as the Labor Order, the Independence Order, and the title of Hero of Labor.
Tipharco has firmly established its position in the Vietnamese pharmaceutical market with a portfolio of over 200 pharmaceutical products and 55 registered health supplements, all of which are trusted by both healthcare professionals and consumers. Among these are several high-quality products capable of replacing imported alternatives, with more than 10 products achieving bioequivalence certification, alongside many others currently undergoing clinical evaluation.
Tipharco’s product portfolio covers a wide range of therapeutic areas, including antibiotics, central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system, cough & cold, allergy & immunology, digestive system, vitamins & minerals, anti-diabetic drugs, steroid hormones, cardiovascular system, as well as herbal medicines and health supplements.

The year 2025 marked a significant milestone, as Tipharco was recognized for the first time among the “TOP 50 LEADING REPUTABLE ASEAN BRANDS.”
In addition, Tipharco’s products have been recognized and honored with prestigious awards such as the “Vietnam Gold Brand – WTO Integration” for AUCLANITYL 875/125mg and AUCLANITYL 500/125mg, as well as the “Vietnam Medicine Star” certified by the Ministry of Health for CEFUROXIME 500mg.
Tipharco has also been granted the title of Science and Technology Enterprise by Tien Giang Province.
